Optimus Prime has it right. Help people. That's the whole point.
Here's how Caisson is giving back in 2014:
This week, Teacher Appreciation Week, we announce the start of Caisson's Charitable Giving Program focused on giving back to area schools.
Our region's education institutions are near and dear to our heart. Caisson has helped deliver telecom to schools since it began in 2005. Currently, we have 17 schools as clients. In 2008, Caisson President, Brian Wade was a guest speaker at a school facility managers conference. There he spoke about telecom challenges unique to school facilities and strategies for managing services and lowering costs. Caisson is proud to provide telecom consulting for educational software company, DreamBox Learning. And, on a personal level, we are parents of children attending, or who are about to attend K-8 in Seattle.
So, in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, we announce the start of Caisson's Charitable Giving Program. Right now, our focus is on education with an emphasis on improving technology in local schools.
As with most starts, our first donation is humble. Still, it is with deep appreciation for Gatewood Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher, Mr. Skeffington that Caisson donates Califone® headphones for his in-classroom, active-learning computer lab.
From Califone's website:
Califone headphones and headsets are built to deliver auditory information for use in individual sound fields, hearing systems and assistive listening centers by teachers, speech pathologists and students in K-12 classrooms, Title 1 programs, assessments, libraries and other school uses.
