CenturyLink fiber to Seattle neighborhoods is good for residents and CWA workers too

Here's the scoop:

Lineman Broc and Bob, members of CWA Local 7800 were on the 4000 block of SW Frontenac Street in the Gatewood area of West Seattle installing a CenturyLink fiber slice box on an aerial line in the neighborhood.

Residential and business phone, Internet and TV services will be delivered across this new fiber facility (i.e. fiber cable carrying two shielded fiber bundles with 12 strands per bundle). 

The speeds will be much faster than current DSL services, according to CenturyLink.

Caisson Helps Affinity Home Care Services Deploy Latest in Hosted Voice

We've really been heads-down busy at Caisson of late, so it's nice to look up and see news coverage of the work we do to help our customers. Today, I'm excited to share coverage of our work to help Affinity Home Care Services select, install and manage a brand new hosted phone service from Comcast Business called Business VoiceEdge™. Caisson was one of the first independent telecom consultants in Washington State to be certified to sell this new business hosted voice service. 

The work we did with Affinity Home Care Services was featured in many media outlets, including The News Tribune in Tacoma, HeraldNet in Everett, The Olympian and The Bellingham Herald, as well as in publications in other Pacific Northwest states.

This case study is really helpful for any small to mid-size business in need of a new phone system, or that is experiencing call-quality, call flow and voicemail issues with an existing system.

Caisson provides telecom consulting and telecom brokerage services to international, biotechnology company, LabConnect LLC. 

Headquartered in Seattle, LabConnect LLC had outgrown its SODO area location and was preparing to move to a bigger space in Pioneer Square. Caisson Technologies helped transfer and update the company's entire telecom solution, including its phone system.

McKillican American Inc. Selects Caisson Technologies to Improve Its Telecom

Wholesale distributor, McKillican American Inc. is headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. It plans improved telecommunication services at several of its locations in the U.S.A. The company chose Washington-State-based Caisson Technologies to provide telecom consulting and to deliver telecom services and equipment.

Beginning with the company's Oregon and Idaho locations, Caisson identified available carriers. This is known as “qualifying a location” in telecom speak, and it's the first step in buying telecom.
